Hello from another beautiful but tumultuous weather day here at the Magic Kingdom! It started out sunny and warm, but after a heavy rainstorm at noon it cooled down a bit while bringing in high humidity. We’ve found some things to show you, so let’s get started!
Upon entering the park we noticed that all the tapstiles were open for the first time we have seen since the parks reopened last year. Until today, all other tapstiles have been closed to promote physical distancing.
The replacement of the last gear in the roadway at the entrance to Tomorrowland continues, with just a small left turn now.
The iconic bronze statue of “The Partners” in the center of The Hub in front of Cinderella’s Castle is being renovated ahead of Magic Kingdom’s 50th anniversary. For more photos and information, see our article here.
As part of the ongoing Jungle Cruise changes, totems have been removed from the Crocodile scene on the ride. For more photos and information, see our article here.
A new collection of Dooney & Bourke handbags was previewed with “Le Hunchback of Notre Dame”. This print will be available in three bag styles. For more photos and information, see our article here.
We’ve found a fun new sketch-style mug featuring several princesses and their friends. We found this mug at The Emporium for $ 14.99.
We also found two new bottles of water at the Emporium. The first features Stitch in her “vacation mode” and the second features the retro Minnie Mouse. Stitch costs $ 27.99 and Minnie costs $ 22.99.
We got a fun photo of these new leather studded ears at Fantasy Faire today. These ears are brand new throughout the property today and retail for $ 29.99.
We found some of the Disney Limited Edition Aladdin Stitch Crashes Collection at Star Traders today. The plush, which sells for $ 29.99, and the MagicBand, which sells for $ 34.99, we’re both available, but pins weren’t.
It was a good day for exclusive products, as today we found a limited edition MagicBand with “The Great Mouse Detective” at The Emporium. It costs $ 39.99.
