Part of the joys of owning a retro-styled motorcycle indeed comes from customizing and customizing your motorcycle. The same goes for modern bikes, however, there are so many more options when it comes to retro machines. Of course, the aesthetic and Instagram appeal of scramblers and cafe-racers is also an undeniable aspect of their seemingly endless popularity.
That said, if you’re a proud owner of Italian manufacturer Fantic’s Caballero range of retro-styled scramblers, chances are you have a penchant for looking good in your vehicle. Don’t get me wrong, the Caballero definitely looks killer out of the box, but adding a dash of carbon fiber personality can definitely go a long way to enhancing that neo-retro aesthetic. With this in mind, Fantic has teamed up with another Italian company, CDZ Compositi, on a range of Caballero-specific carbon accessories.
CDZ Compositi has years of experience in the composites industry and has supplied materials to the aerospace, marine and motorsport industries, with Formula 1 being a notable example. The new range of accessories is compatible with all generations of Fantic Caballero, in 125 or 500 versions. Whether for show, function or a little of both, the range of carbon fiber accessories for the Caballero offers improved styling and added protection for this tough, go-anywhere machine. The entire accessories catalog is also already available at Fantic dealerships across Italy and is believed to be 100% Made in Italy.
CDZ Compositi accessories consist of both aesthetic and functional elements. For starters, a carbon fiber front fender is ready to bolt onto the front of the Caballero. Meanwhile, the carbon fiber heat shields for the Caballer 500-specific headers protect you from unwanted burns when maneuvering the bike around your garage or driveway. Other carbon elements include aftermarket tank covers, side panels, dashboard supports and tank plates.
