eBay cuts fees for high-value auto parts and accessories

eBay cuts fees for high-value auto parts and accessories. The change has an impact on items that sell for over $ 1,000. The new fees apply to sellers who subscribe to an eBay Store.

“Starting September 21, we will reduce the final value commission rate to 2.35% on the portion of parts and accessories sales over $ 1,000 for eBay Basic, Premium, Anchor and Enterprise Store subscribers.” , eBay announced.

The move appears to be part of eBay’s strategy to focus on high-value buyers, who it says made up 20% of its buyers and accounted for around 75% of GMV (sales) in the second quarter. And to do this, eBay strives to attract sellers of high value stocks.

In Tuesday’s announcement, eBay said:

“This reduction in fees is an investment we’re making to help you deliver your best parts and accessories inventory on eBay, confident that you are getting the best value in the market. Your success is our success, and we look forward to jointly creating the world’s leading market for automotive parts and accessories. As always, thank you for selling on eBay.
