Police have released an e-fit from a woman they would like to speak to about another woman’s robbery in Stroud.
The victim was reported to be walking along the canal on Dudbridge Road with her toddler in a pushchair when the incident happened yesterday morning, Wednesday February 16. She was approached by an unknown woman who asked for change, which she refused.
The victim was followed by the woman who then tried to snatch her handbag from the handles of the stroller. The stroller was dragged causing it to fall while the toddler was strapped in. Fortunately, the victim and her toddler were not injured during the theft.

The woman was described as speaking with a non-local accent and wearing gray gym-style bottoms with a black shell-style jacket. Anyone who recognizes the woman in the photo or has information they believe is relevant is asked to contact her.
