When Maria Grazia Chiuri presented her first spring-summer 2017 Dior ready-to-wear collection, she ushered in the return of the cult J’Adior pumps. The feminine silhouette has undergone numerous transformations under the direction of the artistic director and has formed the model for sports-inspired styles this season such as the Dior 62-22 pumps designed in collaboration with Roger Vivier. The next models in the Fall/Winter 22/23 collection also include the Walk’n’Dior court style sneakers and the Dway mules.

On August 19, David Jones Melbourne reopened a boutique dedicated to Dior women’s shoes offering a sophisticated shopping experience for the new season’s cult and coveted styles. The permanent outpost was closed for renovations and since opening has enjoyed an open and welcoming layout, complete with dramatic marble and glass accents, warm gleaming details and plush furnishings. The elegance and modernity that customers expect from any Dior experience. The boutique will carry the aforementioned J’Adior and 62-22 pumps, Walk’n’Dior sneakers and Dway mules.

Further north, in the port city of Sydney, Dior is organizing a temporary pop-up in honor of the long history of the Lady Dior bag. Did you know it once had a different name? From July 28 to September 11, the pop-up will feature three ultra-desirable versions of the Lady Dior mic, featuring intricate bead, sequin or brocade detailing. These very exclusive creations are limited to a single bag in brocade and two in pearls and sequins. More details here.
