Chicago PD and One Tree Hill star Sophia Bush rocks Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle’s favorite brand

Rebecca Lewis,

One Tree Hill and Chicago PD Star Sophia bush rocked a gorgeous DeMellier handbag – a favorite of Duchess Kate and Meghan Markle.

The actress wore a stunning long floral dress with a black satin ribbon detail on the Ted lasso Season 2 premiere at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, LA Thursday.

She paired it with the luxury handbag designer ‘Florence’ mini bag. The mini Florence, which costs $ 425, is a soft and elegant small size pouch with a metal frame covered in leather and a hidden chain for you to wear as a clutch or bag.

The premiere was held outdoors to comply with LA COVID guidelines, and Sophia shared behind-the-scenes snapshots of the event, including with show star Hannah Waddingham.

British leather goods company DeMellier has a serious royal fanbase and that’s probably thanks to the Duchess of Sussex, who was first seen carrying one of their bags in 2018.

London founder Mireia Llusia-Lindh said HELLO! at the time: “We are truly honored that Meghan is carrying one of our bags, she is a fantastic model for women around the world and a great addition to the Royal Family.”

Meghan was pictured with a forest green ‘Venice’ bag by DeMellier while Kate wore the mini ‘Montreal’.

Sophia has already played in Chicago PD but quit after four years, citing “abusive” behavior on set and difficult working conditions.

The show runs in Chicago during the winter, and she shared that they were often forced out in subzero temperatures.

Kate and Meghan are both fans

“I realized that by thinking that I was the badass, that I was doing the thing, that I was showing up for work, I programmed myself to tolerate the intolerable,” she shared on the Armchair Expert podcast by Dax Shephard in 2018.

“I quit because what I learned was I’ve been so programmed to be a good girl and to be a workaholic and a tugboat that I’ve always favored towing the ship for the crew, for the show, for the band, before my own health. … My body was falling apart, because I was really, really unhappy.
